At the helm of Sea Stays is ‘The Captain’ Pat Maflin. With more than 30 years’ experience sailing the worlds oceans, Pat is what we like to call a ‘modern sea dog’ whose passion for sailing – whether that be racing or cruising – is undisputed.
Pat’s vision for Sea Stays was born during the lockdown period when he was unable to race and instead spent a lot of time on the boat. Benefitting himself from the tranquil setting his vessel, Cormorant, was moored in, he wanted to launch one-off travel experiences for those who are after a staycation travel experience that offers something slightly different.

Our unique stays afloat are designed specifically for those who have no previous sailing experience, although we welcome those who do. Our yachts do not leave the safety of each of their respective ports, so there is no need to worry about the possibility of going to sea.
We do ensure though that each chosen port is safe and provides a comfortable stay.

We charge a flat fee per night to ensure that there are no hidden costs, this way you can relax and enjoy your stay even more.

A member of our dedicated team will be onboard to welcome you onto your chosen yacht to ensure that you are familiar with how each vessel works. We are also happy to meet you at the end of your stay to receive any feedback both positive & negative.
